What is Carport
Carport is a car shelter that protects your car from rain, snow and sun, and keeps it cleaner from falling leaves and twigs.
The side and rear walls can be closed off as you wish with slatted or panel walls. You can add up to two modules to each wall. Wall modules can also be added later, if desired.
Carport suits those who want practical, lasting protection for their car and value thoughtful design and quality materials.
Models
Carport is available with two different roof slope directions: Side, where the roof slopes to the side, and Rear, where the roof slopes to the back. The height of the Carport can be adjusted to suit your needs, for example based on the site or your car's height — this doesn't affect the price.

Materials and construction
Carport's load-bearing structure is made up of Fjordly's own glue-laminated beam system. The beams are joined using specially engineered steel connectors that ensure the structure's rigidity, precision, and long service life.
All steel connectors are hot-dip galvanised to ensure corrosion resistance even in the most demanding weather conditions. Steel components are powder-coated in the standard RAL 7016 (Anthracite Grey) finish.
Every visible detail serves a purpose in the structure. Nothing is added purely for decoration.
Wood finish
You can choose your wood finish from the full RAL and Teknos Woodex colour chart. Our showroom has physical samples of finishes we've used before, and we'll choose the right tone or combination of tones together with you.
The wood receives a 3-layer protective coating that ensures long-term durability.

Prisma
The Prisma roof is made from 2.6mm corrugated SUNTUF® Beehive polycarbonate, with a specific weight of approx. 3.12 kg/m². The sheet is smooth on top and textured underneath, which diffuses light. The material is 100% hail-resistant and meets the strictest international fire-resistance standards. Available in three tones: clear (87% light transmission), bronze (33%) and grey (60%).
Sile
The Sile roof is made from 6mm solid polycarbonate, with a specific weight of approx. 7.2 kg/m². The material is UV-protected on both sides. Practically unbreakable — up to 200 times more impact-resistant than glass. Available in three tones: clear (transparent, 90% light transmission), opal (white, 46%) and bronze (45%).

Installation
Carport is secured to a solid base using bolts or anchors, to ensure the structure's stability and wind resistance. You can lay the foundations and install the Carport yourself, or order this from us if you prefer. We'll happily provide a separate quote for both laying the foundation and installing the Carport, based on the specific location and ground surface.
The installation site is often sloped. Where needed, we measure the height differences using a laser level and produce the posts accordingly, ensuring the Carport ends up perfectly level regardless of the ground's slope.
